“We purchased our home 2 years ago, and we knew our home's HVAC system would need replacing soon since it was approaching 20 years. In the beginning of the summer, we noticed the A/C was running almost none stop and the condensation pump was failing to keep up with the amount of condensation dripping from the unit. We called Sutton Brothers to see if this could be a simple fix, but we knew it was probably dying.
Sutton Brothers (Hunter) reviewed our three units (basement, main floor, and upstairs). They gave us the good news that our basement unit was still running strong and was in good working order. However, the main unit was extremely low on refrigerant (wouldn't be easy to source or cheap to fill), and the upstairs unit had a laundry list of issues. Their sales manager (Ian) came the following day to discuss all the details and provided his recommendations. We followed his recommendations (replacing the two units and redoing a bunch of ductwork that was poorly sized and routed) and agreed to his price.
Three days later, two technicians (Eduardo and Tito) arrived to replace our main unit. They arrived at their schduled time and worked all day to complete the job. The next day they arrived (also on time) to replace the upstairs unit. This was during the scorching hot streak that we had during July. I offered them as much Gaterade and water that I had because I felt for them in the 130+ degree attic. They finished the job later that day and our house was feeling great again!
Two weeks later, we noticed an excessive amount of humidity and moisture and I reached out to Ian. Within an hour, Hunter and Christian arrived to review our issue. They found that our main floor's humidifier (from our original unit) had a faulty switch or valve and was continually running. To my surprise, Sutton Brothers took responsiblity of the issue and offered to add an air purification system to our units and duct cleaning free of charge!
